Preventing
Dance Injuries: Kinesiology & the Dance Sciences Applied to
the Teaching of Dance
This workshop would be appropriate for
anyone who teaches dance or similar movement activities. It includes
information about body structure and the potential for movement
with the idea of preventing injury. Basic techniques for improving
strength, flexibility, cardiorespiratory conditioning and nutrition
are also explained.
