Dates: February 2 through April 14, 2008

Content: Emphasis is on teaching academic concepts through movement. Participants learn to tailor movement experiences appropriate for communicating specific ideas to students. A Multiple Intelligences approach to learning is demonstrated throughout the class along with active learning teaching strategies. Connections between movement-based teaching techniques and popular educational theories are also provided.

Credit: Class is worth two hours of university graduate credit
